Certainly it's possible. Any decent hardware store would have a selection of "machine thread" screws.
You could "take" the tripod with you on your search.
I might be inclined initially, if I was you, to go back to the manufacturer, or dealer you purchased the tripod from.

Yes you absoltely can, and will find exactly what you are looking for. Go to Home Depot or Lowes, etc... I've done this before so I could mount a spotting scope to a homemade tripod. I forget the exact size and thread of the screws I used, but believe me, its not hard to find. But take your camera or fold up yer tripod, or better yet, if you can take out the mounting screw out of your tripod, just bring that, less stuff to carry around. But I will say this, be sure you really check the thread spacing carefully, and for metric or standard size, as you can get as much as 4 twists in, and realize that your nut is stuck. Anyways... good luck....

Yes, take the camera (which has the threads you're trying to match) to a hardware store and the tripod head to get the depth of the screw [you don't want to punch a hole in the camera with a screw that is too long].

I easily have not in any respect heard of a tripod mount on any racing motor cycle so I easily could guess you've not both and do not recognize what you're asking about contained in the MOTOR CYCLE RACING communicate board....

Generally Larger hardware stores have specialty bins for just such items.. I've seen that Home Depot has a whole aisle devouted to nuts/bolts/screws and fasteners.. Check the flat plastic bins they has in that aisle. You'll likely find what you are looking for..
