Yes, my puppy, he is a 10-week old Yorkie that weighs no more than 2 pounds. One of his favorite shananagins is to get ahold of the toilet paper in one of the bathrooms and just run with it until it breaks, runs out or he gets busted. When ever I catch him, he will sit down real fast and look at me like nothings going on and he always has a big peice of tissue hanging from the side of his mouth. He is SOOOOOOOO funny!!

My dog is the cutest thing you'll ever see. When he gets into trouble, he hangs his head down, lets the floppy ears hang for a minute, and then looks up at me with those big brown eyes that say, "You still love me, right?" You wanna talk about heart-breaking...He's a total pro at this.

The thing is, you have to give children rules and boundaries, for both their mental growth and their SAFETY. That's why you scold them when they try to touch the hot stove. Pets are the same. Think of it as part of your responsibility as a good pet owner. And you don't have to "stay mad." Simply scold the animal to let them know that you are not pleased with that behavior, AND BE FIRM. Voice tone is key here. Then, don't play with them, or even "talk" to them for maybe half an hour. After that, it should be okay to give attention. Also, removing some of the temptations could be helpful, such as picking up socks and shoes, etc. Even CD's weren't safe for me. I really feel your pain, but it'll get better. Also, some animals are acting out due to separation anxiety. Maybe add an extra 20-minute walk into your dogs day. You'd be surprised how that helps. Try watching the Dog Whisperer. Genius.

I do... man do I! She's so cute I have not been able to stay mad at her, she wasn't litter trained when she arrive home, so I had accidents almost everyday in my house, she has snagged my curtains, pulled strings out of the fabric of my couch, ripped my shower curtain and knocks things off my tables. She's a gorgeous Himalayan kitten, 4 months old with huge blue eyes. I go to pick her up and her motor starts running every time. I just can't be mad at her!

Thanks for giving me the op to talk about my little darling!

That is called "love". The answer is yes. I have a terrier which I rescued from the Animal Welfare. He was 3 months old, and very ugly. He has turned into a beautiful spoilt little boy, that bosses me around, and when he wants something, doesnt bark, but screeches. Drives my husband nuts, but of course I think "it is so cute". They just need a bit of training especially if it is a pup. But I am the last person to really give advice. I am putty in their paws.

Yes - my beautiful rescued Maine Coon. But she's so gentle and placid that I don't think she would do anything so destructive! ( We cat owners are so tolerant going by the answers received so far.)
