Most gardening books have a map with the zones shown. You can also look in an encyclopedia under USDA zones or put USDA zones in your search engine.

At the site below, you can just type in your zip code and it will tell you your hardiness zone. Also, what trees to grow there! Good luck.

i am not exactly sure which hardness zone you are talking about is it water or soil? is so you can go to lowes or home depot and they have kits that test for hardness? or are you trying to find out which soil is best to grow things?

if you are referring to what plants grow best in your area, contact your local county extension agent, they can or should be able to give you an idea of what will grow or point you in the right direction
