I think love could best be described in these terms.
I am 38.
I had a daughter just over 20 years ago.
She is at a hard point in her life-making bad decisions, being irresponsible, not taking care of herself, getting involved in things that I cant control, not calling me or acknowledging me.
My heart is breaking for this girl that I held close to my body and fed everyday. Tears come to my eyes when I think of this person that I carried in my young body and brought forth with so much pain. I would do anything for her and give my own life for hers if I knew it could make her complete. There is nothing that could ever change the way I feel-and she has been cruel and thoughtless and just plain mean. But I hope and worry and cry and then I pull myself up by my bootstraps and continue with this tough love I have been trying. But it will never change the fact that what I feel for her is the most earth shattering emotions that will always remain...

The meaning/mystery of love is so simple that it's like a clue that's right under our very noses.
Love is a strong liking... & love is doing something good for someone, on purpose (planned), for the reason of showing that person that you care about them.
