that's why Dubai is operating so confusing to construct a tourism market... They understand that when the oil dries up, they're toast because they position self assurance in it too a lot. As for the U. S., we get more suitable than 1/2 our oil from different resources, so we would want to even see fee will develop yet we are able to not immediately away be out of oil. and probably THEN we will be allowed to drill in places which at the on the spot are off-limits.

I really don't think it would happen before Bush leaves office in '08 but if it did... he'd create some BS reason for invading Venezuela and/or Canada (they'd become terrorists of course... at least according to him and Fox News) since they have the most oil outside the Middle East.

No, because it would not suddenly run out but over a period of time. During which there would be total war to posess the last oil fields. If this turned nuclear there would be nothing left to want oil for anyway.

Mind you with some of the smaller African countries now finding oil that will be the next hot spot for conflicts.

War has been around for a lot longer than our need for oil. And will be around long after we no longer need or have oil.

No,...even if the USA pulls out of Iraq it won't stop there for the Iraqi's..they will continue to fight each other & the US will continue to fight the terrorists elsewhere in the world..The war on terror is going to be an endless fight as long as those cells exist & they can recruit members anywhere in the world..Sad but true...
