Wherever my dog urinates in the yard,it turns the grass yellow. I water the area daily, but it still dies. Is there any other suggestions?

They have sprays at your local pet store that will neutralize the acids in the urine that browns out the grass.

Another idea that is cheaper is take a hose and directly spray the area where your dog went. Broad watering won't do the trick, it has to be concentrated.

Hope that helps!! I have a golden retriever that does the same thing and I have found success with both of these methods.

My dog does the same thing. A kennel owner told me to try tomato juice on the dogs food. It is worth a try because he seemed pretty knowledgable. I tried herbal pills that i bought online and at the pet store--they never worked. Good luck! On the bright side, when our dogs go #2 it usually greens the lawn!

there is a product on the market in australia called dog rocks. you put these rocks in the dogs drinking bowl and it stops the dog turning the grass yellow. not sure what is in them.
