I sincerely wish to help you with your inability to remove "Panda Antivirus", from your system. (Wish you would have given more info., as to what add/remove says when you attempt to remove).
Exampale, "file is corrupt", "uninstaller corrupt". Will still try an help without indepth information.
Some programs have an uninstaller located in your "Start",= Programs. Open start=programs and look for "panda", place your mouse over "panda", if you can find it and more files related to "panda", should appear to the right. Look and see if "panda", as it's own uninstaller. If so, uninstall from your programs instead of add/remove.
If a browser windows comes up from Panda's webpage asking why you are uninstalling, don't fill out the form, just close the webpage from the tray by right click with your mouse. And continue with the uninstalling of "panda".
If all fails, go to: www.glarysoft.com and download their, "Absolute Uninstaller", it is not a free product, but you will be able to use it to remove panda, during the evaluation period. Plus it will tell you the problem, if the software will not remove "Panda". (I use this program as a backup to Windows XP Prof., because Microsoft is really junk in all aspect of their system).
After you are able to remove "panda", reboot your system and open start=run, and type in: c"//program files, open browser, open program files and look to see if there is a file named "panda", it should remove the file without saying file is in use, because you have rebooted. (If you don't reboot, after removing a program, they will all say file is in use, unable to remove).
Panda is junk, like Nortons, Mcafee. If you really want what I consider to be the worlds very best antivirus system use what I use and the Government of China uses.
See details below:
Being a clinical psychiatrist I have a moral and legal obligation to keep my pc 100% clean from all virus/spyware/malware.
I tested every free and purchase antivirus system known. An I found only one that actually works 100%. Never had a virus or spyware in my system in nine years.
Go to, www.filseclab.com and download thier Twister AntiTrojan Virus program. (You will have to pay a small one time fee). You will never have to pay an annual fee for updates, support or new versions. The one time fee is for life. ($29.99)
The software company is located in Beijing, China. They have excellent support, frequent large signature updates an as always all new versions are free. No annual fee for anything.
Comes with a real time scanner that really works. Actually I am quite amazed over the nine years how well it works.
Scans memory on startup.
Real time scanning in the background.
Open any webpage with an embedded trojan/spyware or malware and scanner will clean on the spot. An It is really removed from your system.
Download any kind of program from zips, all compressed files, software files, music, etc, etc, an if there is a hidden embedded trojan, spyware, malware, this program will stop the download and clean. An will advise you to end the download.
Will even find a virus in the installer wizard, like "Wise Installer". And will stop the installation while it is being installed and clean. Plus this program always will trace back who installed the trojan.
I had a trojan in and wizard installer. Twister caught the trojan and stopped the installation. I wrote the origianl company and told them the wizard installer had an embedded trojan to steal your data. The company now uses thier own installer.
You can't beat this software for a one time purchase fee only. Actually I don't know of any antivirus progam that even comes close to this state of the art technology.
All I can say it is worth the one time fee. Your pc cost alot of money and you don't want it destroyed. Plus your privacy is protected at all times.
There is nothing in it for me to praise this program. I tell it like it is. If it is garbage then I will say so.
Sincerely hope this helps you.

Before uninstalling Panda Titanium Antivirus 2004, bear in mind that from that moment onwards, it will not be protected against viruses and other threats.
How to uninstall the program
1.
Click on the Windows Start button.
2.
Select Programs.
3.
Select the option Panda Titanium Antivirus 2004.
4.
Click on Uninstall.
5.
When you select the option Remove, you will be given a questionnaire to complete about the program and the reasons why you have decided to uninstall it.
This information will be very useful for us when we want to improve the program in the future. If you want, you can select the option to give your opinion, and click on Next.
If there is not an open connection to the Internet, you will be informed about how to fill in the questionnaire.
6. When the uninstallation finishes, you will be asked to restart the system.
Once you have done this, Panda Titanium Antivirus 2004 will be correctly uninstalled.
if this does't workout, then do the same procedure by booting your PC in safe mode.
Thanks
Zubair

Dear,
Install the software again in your pc and check the add/remove options in control panel. If its not visible check the uninstall option is available in the start menu -> programs list->panda virus option. If it not available there too kindly click on MY COMPUTERS->click hard drive partition 1st,usually C DRIVE->click program files-> find out the panda anti virus folder-> click on that folder -> then uninstall option will be available o'er there..if not delete the whole folder/or leave it free...thats the only solution.
ALERT - The last option deleting the folder without uninstalling the software can cause errors/bugs in your system.

"I went to add or remove programs, still cant"
Well, then, go to safe mode, by pressing F8 when Windows is booting. Log in as Admininstrator.
Now try Add or Remove Programs, If that doesnt work, then here u go:
---Delete any Files that belong to it.
---Type regedit in Start-->run
---Remove and Registry keys relating to the antivirus.
Caution: Always Backup your registry before touching it.
The method i have said is a forced removal, which uninstalls the software manually. All the best

CNTL/ALT/DEL and stop the program. You can't remove it when it is running. You can also shut it down from the security center in XP.
