In very rare instances yes, but the offspring will almost always be sterile.
It's just the same as horse/donkey hybrids, or lion/tiger hybrids

Since they are both considered rodents i do believe they can make a hybrid offspring, meaning an animal that shares traits between two seperate species. As pioneers traveled west they needed an animal that was strong an sure footed to haul supplies and wagons. The solution was a mule. Which simply is a donkey (who has a low center of balance and notoriously sure footing) mixed with a horse (very strong, and has good endurance). However, every mule that was born, was born sterile. Meaning they can't have offspring. It's natures own mechanism to provent irregular mutations in further generations. Several other hybrid species exist but are all sterile and unfortunatly sometimes have health problems since their parents have such different qualities. So:
Donkey+horse=mule
Lion+Tiger=liger
Zebra+horse=Zorse
...
However, because of these health problems i do not recommend trying to create a hybrid species with rodents. Hope that helps :) ,Chris

No,Most species of hamsters will not interbreed and are not able to produce young with mice. Its like a horse and a cow...It wouldn't happen. Hamsters usually wont breed with another species of hamster.either.
