Chelsea are named after a local area, but they actually play in West Brompton. The founders decided to adopt the name of the adjacent borough of Chelsea for the new club, having rejected names such as Kensington FC, Stamford Bridge FC and London FC
Actually Alanth, West ham play at Upton Park not East Ham

Chealsea a rich part of London and full of pretty english girls! Worth a visit, but their stadium is too whitin the city which is hard to get access to! Well that happens in almost every club in London. But the new Emirates looks awesome!

Because they play like Chelsea Pensioners?
I recently met a little girl called Chelsea, who wished her Father supported Accrington Stanley!

I'm pretty sure I've read that there is an area or something that is named Chelsea, which I'm pretty sure is where they got the name...

Really they should be called Fulham...cos that's where they play. However, West Ham play in East Ham, Millwall don't play in Millwall they play in New Cross, and my favourite is Grimsby Town...who play in Cleethorpes!
