The Pistols' film The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle hasn't been on TV for yonks and as far as I know, The Filth and The Fury has never been shown. Have the Pistols management got an injunction on their airing or something? Also, Rotten's film The Order of Death, I know it was shown on LWT in about 1983, but I've never known it to be networked ever and has the UK Subs' short 'Punk can take it' ever been shown on TV? Please enlighten me if you know otherwise.

"Sid and Nancy" was on last night - this film also has all the other Sex Pistols featuring in it - so there obviously is no injunction.

The film was made by Roger Ebert, really, how punk rock can that be? The Sex Pistols were a prefab band just like the Backstreet Boys. They were the worst punk rock band ever.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 'D.O.A' (Dead on Arrival). Whilst no strictly a 'Sex Pistols film', it contain loads of great footage of the bands ill fated tour of America. Its also notable for having interview footage with Sid and Nancy. Lydon didn't like it much mind you, (probably as he didn't get any royalties from it). Its been shown once or twice on Channel Four a good few years back.
