People cannot even agree upon the year, let alone the date. To much of the Western Hemisphere, it is 2006 CE or AD, but to Chinese it is Year 4804. The Jews have a calendar too. I don't recall exactly what year they use, but I think it's nearly 6000. Oh well, there have been hundreds of "End of the World" predictions and will be hundreds more. All have been and will be wrong, because ignorant people use books of fiction, e.g. Revelation, Nostradamus' "Centuries" and such nonsense to make their nutty predictions.

Predictions for the end of the world have come and gone and we're still here. Nobody can predict when the world will end but you can't help laugh at the hysteria it causes in some cults when they are waiting for one and then the look of sheepishness when they are still there the next day. The end of the world is nigh, errrr tomorrow or next week or maybe the week after that.....

There is not one human being on the face of this earth that can predict that time when this world will come to the end. The Bible has made it very clear that only God, knows when that time is. Also Jesus also made it clear when he told a group of people as well as his followers that only my father know that date. But some human feeling they are just as great as God is, thinks that God, left clues in the bible. The same bible that mankind has removed entire book from and untold pages from. Then say that they had God's permission to remove those items so they can show the world that they are in direct communication with God. And get rich in the process. Only to fail for their words turns out to be useless. But their bank accounts are full.

Of course no one can predict the date the world will end. According to the Bible, no one knows the date or time of the end.

Oh, very good question, guess if the world is going to end none of us will know much about it in the end, would be a shame if it did as it is a beautiful place to be most of the time.

I figure they are predicting the date as per 'their' time zone...and heck if the world actually ended then it wouldnt matter what the time and date was in Australia now would it!!

Ha ha! That's funny. Reminds me of how I can't get into it when people are fussing about the moment the New Year comes in, counting down and all that - I always think about how it is at a different time in a different place.
At one time my uncle lived 6 hours ahead of us, and they were always ringing us at THEIR midnight "Happy New Year! Ray! etc" and we would say "it isn't time yet, it's only 6pm!"

it is something that is unpredictable. this beautiful planet we live in we are slowly destroying, and the world will end when man's greed will suck out every little natural resource from earth.
all that could have been foreseen id human stupidity, to worship gods that do not exist but completely disrespect what gives us life and a place to live..
what a shame.
