I have been told to rap the tomatoes in paper and put in a paper bag, is this true?

Yes or just set them in the kitchen window.

What you have been told is correct!!!!! Leave them in the bag for 1-2 weeks. Do not open the bag to check on them. You will let out the gases needed for ripening.

I beleive that is true, but just put them in the brown bag and sit them on the counter for a day or two.

I set mine in a kitchen window to let them ripen! Never put them on the refrigerator while they are green! Not good for them!

Yes it works just set them on the counter not in the frig.
