What issues - they didn't even KNOW they had to campaign on issues.
They just thought they have to complain about how the Republicans do things to get elected.
EDIT - HELLVIS - LOVE THE MAKEOVER and thanks for quoting ME in this post. I feel special!

yes they are , foley was all a plan set up by the republicans to show what the democrats really care about , so far it is working to perfection . The sad thing is that if they would just come up with a plan or idea to help the war they would win , but they haven't or are capable of doing so

What issues, they never have issues, all they do is complain and complain and if the Republican stumble on something they all get on top of them. They don't have no issues, the border fence was approved by the Republicans and president Bush sign it, the American people are against the amnesty program they are backing so what's left to complain about, oh I forgot Mr. Foley.

No, they have so much more to campaign on. The war in Iraq; the lies leading to the war in Iraq; the fact that the White House was warned two months before 9/11 about an impending attack and did nothing. Couple that with the facts that the government has been totally mismanaged for the last 6 years their si so much more to campaign on.

I hope not, Let the Deformed Republican Party dig their own grave with that scandal.
All we have to mention is:
1) Surplus instead of Deficit
2) Foreign Policy with Dialogue not Invasion
3) Healthcare Reform
4) Alternative Fuel Research AND IMPLEMENTATION!

As soon as you guys stop trying to put up the smoke screen about Foley (like RLP saying that he has decided to become a democrat) stop blaming Clinton, and accept responsibility like your leader Bush has, ther democrats can move on. Why don't you republicans let it go?

Highly doubtful. There are far more important issues at stake. Are the Republicans going to campaign on "stay the course" ?

It's less about Foley's actions--those are being dealt with, finally--than it is about the good ole boys who covered for him to protect the party (and Foley's cashflow to the party!)
Deceivers like that have no business running my government.

You can't abandon the issues if you didn't have any in the first place!
