How they make Cranberry glass is, while it is melting, they throw an amount of gold in to it, and the hotter the glass, the deeper the cranberry colour, the amount of gold, is determined by years of experience. i would say that if they look like cranberry, they probably are, because i have heard of no one faking it, hope they are worth quite a bit for you, good luck.

I think it is just the colour which is a deep pinish red?
