I have to agree that it is in fact a haven for pedophiles... I have nothing against people trying to promote their band, or whatever career in the biz, but theres a lot of porn stuff going on and a lot real young people exposed to all this, as its not regulated they can say they are 18 when in fact they are 40+, or say they are 20 and they are 12....I was seriously disappointed when I realised a guitarist from a band I dig a lot is on myspace and also on vampirefreaks.. and the man is a serious pedophile, that's sick and I believe these spaces should be monitored and regulated, what these pedophiles posing as real nice guys want is to see little girls on cam, and some of these pedophiles are semi famous people so these girls actually do whatever to have their msn contact ..its revolting, not the concept of myspace which is a great tool to promote or just to keep in touch with friends, and hopefully make new ones, but it has turned into a pandemonium..
Just my humble opinion, and to all the people on myspace, careful and dont give too much personal info, you dont know whos actually on the other end..

I <3 myspace. its so cool because you can post just about anything you want on there for other peoples viewing pleasure. You can also meet alot of new people that you go to school with and are how would you put it, chicken to talk to them oh wait thats just in my case. But anyways I like myspace.

I think it has ruined my life! I have gotten into more fights with my girlfriend about myspace than anything else.

Its ok. If you live in a place where a lot of people don't have phones, then it is a great way to keep in touch with them.
