It's the first time i've used tampons and i told my one friend about it. We were just teasing around while we were walking and my other friend came. So it was three of us. So we were joking and then she called me tampon face...and I got angry with her and walked away. She told me that she didn't know that i'll take it so seriously and i told her that i couldn't trust her anymore because she said it infront of the other girl. She appoligized a lot and she even wanted to walk me to my car, i told her watever.

Am i over-reacting?
Is it silly to get angry for that?
Should i forgive her?

So I'm to assume that you're ashamed of the fact you're using tampons? Otherwise that "insult" doesn't make any sense to me! From what I can tell, your friend wasn't trying to be mean, she really was just joking, and obviously she didn't know that you wanted this whole tampon thing to be a secret. So yes, I think you should forgive her, and she should also apologize for hurting your feelings.

yeah i think you should forgive her, she maybe a bit childish but if your just startin to use tampons then you must a kid. Tamponface maybe an insult but by the sounds of it she was just tryin to be funny, if she was a good mate of yours b4 she said it then i wouldnt take it to heart there are many worse things to be called tamponface isnt that offensive.

i think you overreacted a little. sure you have the right to be upset, but alot of women use tampons, and it's really not that big of a deal. and of course i think you should forgive her.

I think you should forgiver her. I don't think she meant to hurt your feelings. It sounds like she was just joking around. Give her the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, you're overreacting. She obviously spoke before thinking, which we all do by accident. It's open mouth, insert foot on her part. Forgive her and brush it off. It isn't worth ruining your friendship. Sheesh!
