dont punish her jus use the incentive way it will work with her because she still young and not be able to make defrenciate between right and wrong
Children are not born knowing how to be well behaved. They need help and guidance from parents and other careers - and as all parents know this isn't always an easy job
Talking to other parents with children of the same age it may work and help u
Children learn that they get attention by doing things parents don't like.
A better way to encourage good behavior is to remember to praise them as often. This doesn't mean never reprimanding them for doing something wrong. But it's important to criticize the child's behaviour rather than the child as a person. Instead of saying, "You are very naughty", say something like, "I don't like what you're doing", or, "We won't allow that behavior".
Set limits for your child
Let children know what behavior is allowed and what isn't. Setting limits makes them feel secure. Be consistent about what is and what isn't acceptable.

It's nice she has something like that she is interested in. It is not always bad being obsessed over something. Who says she has to have the same interests you do? She might get tired of this and move onto something else next year, you never know, or she could end up being a big celebrity talent searcher or promoter. If yoiu are going to be truly successful in something then you do have to be a little obsessed and thus weird to a lot of people. At least she is doing this and not snorting cocaine.

She is still young. I am sure she will grow out of it. I remember being that age. I had posters all over my walls. I was just so in love with many different celebs. However, time moves on and so will she. Just leave her alone....no one said you two had to have the same interests. She probably says some of these things about you and what you find interesting.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
I thought I was one of the only ones left in this worl that had brains. I am glad to see you are with me.
All of this celebrities that the kids worship are all a flash in the pan. In ten years we wont even remember who they are, or much less what they accomplished, which was NOTHING
One of your answerers said back in her day she was crazy for Donny Osmond, well he is still around.
That should tell you who the real celebrities are. The ones that have staying power, do good things in their life, and above all have REAL talent, not like the wannabes of today.
Ex. Paris Hilton, YUCK YUCK YUCK. How can you worship anyone who starts a fist fight in a nightclub. What is that teaching our kids? And for those of you who think she is a role model, she ISNT and never will be.
Someone the other day compared Paris to Marilyn Monroe, I jsut about threw up. To even put her name is the sentence with Marilyn is an insult to Marilyn.
The kids need to watch the old movies with actors and actress that can ACT and listen to music of musicians that have been around forever instead of this hip-hop crap and what they call Rock and Roll today, oh my god Elvis is turning over his grave. The rock and roll of today is nothing but useless LOUD NOISE
If the parents would educate them on music and real acting by showing them old movies and taking them to the theatre to see PLAYS then maybe we wouldnt have such a problem
I could go on and on but you get my point

...it's just entertainment! What else could she be possibly doing? Oh wait a minute, she could be on drugs, robbing banks, boosting, prostituting, a s!ut, a car thief, a murderer, a drug dealer, a molester, a crooked politician, a bully, running drugs for the neighborhood drug dealer, because he looks too suspicious, poisoning the neighbor's dog or cat, fighting pit-bulls, sniffing glue, or screwing the school staff! You take your pick! Start getting involved in your lil sis's life. Don't rag on her. I know, I don't like it either when my siblings engage too much into that stuff, but there are a lot more "stupid things" that she could be into.

The producers of these shows must think that every kid has parents that can afford to buy new clothes and cars on a whim . Super sweet sixteen is pretty stupid also , like I can go buy my kid a new mercedes and throw a $ 120,000 birthdat party !!! These shows make kids even more materialistic !!

I guess I'm lucky. My little sister isn't really into all that. She reads her little gossip magazines and stuff, but she's more into her music than anything. She plays the electric guitar, and really doesn't have time for much else.

I was like that at that age, about a hundred years ago. For me it was pretty much limited to Donny Osmond, though.
