If I could tell you the purpose of your existence, I would be a very rich girl.
It is up to us to eventually find our meaning in life...but the answer may not come until you are on your deathbed. Any action you make has consequences further down the road.
If anyone has the proven scientific reason why we are here, they aren't talking. If you are looking into your own faith, you should speak to the proper clergyperson.
I think, just LIVE. Have fun, be yourself, help other....make something contributal to society...who knows whose life you made better? Even a smile goes a long way. Don't focus on the END, focus on the RIGHT NOW.
Good question!

Hello. How nice of you to ask such a broad
question this morning.
I would say that the purpose of your existance
right now is to get a good education so that you
can find a good job and earn a satisfactory living
in the future. With a good job, you can purchase
food, clothing, and housing for continued life here
on Earth. You can squander your time here on
Earth by simply being a consumer of products,
or you can be fruitful and contribute to society by
developing some significant device which will cure
illness, save labor, reduce consumption of scarce
materials, or utilize common materials to generate
desireable items for human consumption.
As you enter the work force you will soon discover
things that you like and are handy at...
Possibly your purpose in life then was to do things
using those particular talents. You may elect to do
things which are very difficult for you to do. If so,
you may add to your list of talents, and become
that much more productive in our society.
Your existance on this Earth is temporary. It will last for
a period of from 1 Minute to maybe as much as 115
Years. At the end of your existance you will perish (die) from any one of a hundred causes. There is nothing after you die. Look around you. The dead things turn to dust.
Not a pleasant thought? I am sorry. Truth is not always pleasant.

Eternal life???? Damn, that is a scary thought. I'm too busy writing an argument to refute Kant's views that G-d does not have a purpose Itself because He(She, It) cannot have a body and still be the G-d. [See, if G-d is incorporeal then It has neither needs, nor desires and therefor did not even create us because that would have required that It have some desire to fulfill something. The primo conundrum.]............. By George, God, I think I've got it! Now, if I can find my way out of cyberspace and off this cave wall.........

The purpose of life is for you to learn about the world you live in and love your neighbor. Make a positive difference in the life of another person.

Your purpose for existence is the same for every living organism that is out there. We are here only to produce offspring. That is the meaning of life. Very simple if you think about it. If we didn't produce offspring we obviously would not be here.

the purpose of your existance is to send me every penny you earn for the rest of your life, do we really need a purpose. If so to procreate would be the simplest of answers but as you asked such a dumb question I suggest you dont incase yr children grow up with the same problem lol

you'd live for 70 (maybe 80) years. How u want to spend it is entirely up to you. But you want to make a difference (be significant) choose a route to help humanity, turn to religion... make your life meaningful

Whatever it is, I'm not sure that geologists have notably better insight than anyone else, would your question not fit better under "philosophy" or "religion"?

We are here, because God made us; to know, love and serve Him in this life, so that we may be happy (forever) with Him, in the next life.
