I took my car to Chapel Hill Tire Company, because of a scraping noise, I've been hearing when I pressm y brake pedal, and now I'm worried about the cost. what's the average...it's just the front brakes

The price usually depending on the car, but a normal good brake job with after-market (generic) pad/shoes and disks or drums turned on a lath machine will run you about a $100.00 per axle (front two or rear two). Some cars like Honda Accord from 93 to 97 have a "hub over" set up which costs a bit more. Good Luck!!!

$89.95 at MIDAS, (advertised price/per axle). Parts extra.

You will probably need at laest a rotor re-surface, possibly new rotor(s), or calipers and or hoses. The shop can give a much better estimate than anyone here. They have the car!

we charge 210.00 to replace brake pads,resurface rotors,clean brake calipers,pad support brackets,brake shields,and lubricate caliper sliding pins.

some places like midas are offering around $99 per axle. it will vary though pending on your car and whether or not the rotors are also shot

all depends on what kind you get..from $20-$45..labor price depends on the shop u go to..if they charge by the hr..its bout $75-$95 an hr...some ppl charge you by the side..like $35-$40 a side
