She was a tennis prodigy who has been adversly effected by the media hype around her. She seems to make comebacks to fulfill the promise of her talents, but everytime the media hype seems to get the better of her and she slumps again. She is definitely talented, but needs to ignore the hype. On the other hand, it is good to see that a sport other than Cricket is getting some media focus in Inida.

She is just a media hyped product! Her best result was winning the Hyderabad Open (a tier 3 event!) Because of the hype she is left behind by the other Asian players just look at Li Na she didn't receive such attention and hype that's why she's bringing in results she was noticed later than Sania was but she is the one who's the top 20 player at the moment.

Media hype product. People just liked her for being in a short skirt and that she was indian. She needs time before she gets better. She played well last year... or two years ago. I can't remember. But this year she has been below average.

just a media hype product who doesnt need to work hard & win except once in a year to keep up her money supply from advertising. she makes money by participating in all the tournaments on the circuit & getting ads by the hype she creates by reaching the quaterfinals of 1 tournament.

If she was Russian or American or any other nationality, we wouldn't even have heard of her! She is in the news because her countrymen wants her to play but her the people in charge of her religion doesn't want her to play or wants her to play while being dressed from head to toes in a black traditional dress...

sania earned a lot of fame and money from different brands and now she has come to aposition that she resembles india and she got a lot of fame than any other sports person earned and now she is not concentrating on the game and only on brands
