I would make an appt. with your Dr. If not pregnant there could be something else that is causing the missed periods. Better safe then sorry.

I use to have my periods once every year to every other year...I think there was even one point where I had missed it for a couple. I needed to go for infertility testing. I ended up getting pregnant by taking Clomed, HCG and being artificially inseminated---for various reasons. Then, about a year an a half later, after not having a period for at least 6 months---I got caught and became pregnant for my son. If you are worried about not becoming pregnant...or have tried for a while and have been unsuccessful, go to an infertility specialist.
Irregular periods happen. I did have a head nurse tell me that I should at least have a period every 6 months...and that if I haven't it should be induced (such as taking the pill for a couple of days to start one up). It cleans out your system.
The reasons that irregular periods happen are due to many different things (such as a low hormone) but my hormones were on track..so, there are some reasons that they DONT know. It still has a little mystery to it, even for doctors.
Dont take the pill for any purpose, unless you know for sure--by statement of a doctor, that you are indeed NOT pregnant.

Your period doesnt necessarily decide when you get prengnant, your ovulation cycle does. You can get ovulation tests at a drug store where you find pregnancy tests, they can tell you when you are ovulating (usually 2 days out of every cycle). You should make a dr. appt. though to see why your cycle has stopped. (by the way, im 18wks pregnant and the condoms didnt break, and two of the three tests i took were negative so get checked just in case). good luck :)

Yes you can get pregnant. stop using protection and visit a gynocolagist he will be able to telll how to time your ovulation process because it differs in women. some ovulate and have thier menstrual cycle and ovulate and dont have the mnstral cycle because of a shortage of the female hormone. also i could be that your husbands semen does not carry enough live sperm it because of a low sperm count, if that is the case do not have sex for about 2 to 3 days so that his sperm count can increase therefore increasing the chances of you getting pregnant.

You do NOT want to play guessing games with your body like that. Go to a doctor.
