It's not about Mark Foley anymore. It's about how the Republican leadership responded when confronted with the situation. We're 30 days away from an election that will determine who controls congress for the next two years and the Foley scandal is going to have an impact on the outcome. Of course it's important.

truly what i am most tired of is this one we all know the dude is a sicko OK now he's gone , its time to start doing the work they were elected to do , im tired of hearing the Dem's point there finger and say how bad all the Republicans are the fact if there has been 4 or 5 sexual scandals that were in fact perpetuated by democrats but i don't or didn't hear there moral police tell any of there other senators to step down same thing when one of there s hits a cop its OK she's just misunderstood or some crap i for one am not Republican or Dem and I'm sick and tired of the major B.S do your damn jobs do whats right and stop blaming everyone else when in truth your probably doing the same thing 2 wrongs don't make a right but its ok for democrats to have there sex scandel and then not to blame there other leader's you never hear if a dem does something wrong you never hear them or anyone else ask there leaders to step down clinton is another story alltogether

I'm personally annoyed that one man gets impeached for getting a ******** from a fully grown woman (who went on to make a career out of it) and another man cybersexes a teenager and that's okay. Why is he not in jail? That's what I'm talking about. And where he gets off using his homosexuality as an excuse for pederasty, I don't know. Homosexual does not equal pedophile. Can we get this through peoples' heads, I don't know!

Homosexual = okay, consensual adults, whatever.

Pedophile= Not okay, child of whatever gender, NOT OKAY!

So let's talk some more about how this jerk isn't in jail and a whole bunch of his croneys have been covering it up= endangering the welfare of a minor. Why aren't they having charges pressed against them while we're at it? Huh? Let's talk baby. If it were me, a clerical professional of no importance, cybering some teenage boy at work, my boss would notify the authorities, the authorities would notify the parents and I'd have my day in court.

If it were my child- Daughter or son, either one, and that guy wasn't arrested, I'd have my day in court too, for assault and battery.

Let the commislamic fascists have their fun crowing and clamoring about the hypocritical Republicans. We will see how much damage it does on election day. Foley is a no good pervert that happened to be a Republican. He is gone now but the commislamic fascists will not shut up about it because they think it will help them win the election. They may be right, but there is also such a thing as back-lash. Anyway, isn't it terrible when one of the USA's major political parties has nothing to offer the voters but negative smear tactics?

The Foley ordeal as well as other recent scandals show a pattern of corruption and perversions in the Republican party. The Republicans gained the public trust on supposed Christian family values and were quick to pin the Democratic party for immoral beliefs.

It is still news because of the gross hypocrisy of the Republican party and unfortunately is only the tip of the iceberg.

I have been critical of attempts to smear Republicans in general with the actions of the one; I do not believe any party has a monopoly on perverts.

But...

Honestly, if a Dem were caught in this situation, we'd never hear the end of it. Foley's actions have been far worse than Bubba's, yet we are constantly reminded of his deeds.

It is nothing short of hypocritical to try to sweep Foley under the carpet so quickly; maybe I was wrong in trying to distance the majority of Republicans from this sicko.

I really think that the only ones sick of hearing about it is the repuglicans. These pukes in here are doing everything that they can to spin it so that they can put the blame on the democrats. Trouble is it comes down to the fact that a repuglican got caught with his pants down this time and the holier then thou repuglican party has some egg on their face for a change. I guess with the cover up and everything that they are not so holy any more.

I'm certainly NOT sick about hearing it. The more that emerges, the more that the public can see an inconsistancy between what has been "marketed" to them and what they actually have received in voting for this man.

Were you sick of hearing about Clinton and his affair with Monica? Did you support a President being impeached because he had an extra-marital affair with a woman of legal age?

No, I am not sick of hearing about this scandal, I am actually enjoying it.

Someone need to tell the media to let go. I have noticed that when the media gets a hold of something they just don't let go. We all have to let go sometime. There are more important items than Mark Foley aren't there?
