Because women like to chat and give advise. Also, it's an anonymous way to get answers to questions some may be too embarrassed to ask in person.

There is no simple answer, but generally speaking males are more interested in sports (they are watching the game) or sports (they are someplace trying to pick up a woman) or sports (they try to compete in answers and find themselves as a small fish in a big pond) or sports (look at the predominance of male Users in the Sports and Automotive categories).
I would say many women tend to be less interested in sports (all of the above).

As if you don't know. Women rather enjoy talking, gossiping, complaining, whining... in short, bÃtching. They can better exercise their "special ability" on here, hence their large number.
