I personally would not make this trade, although it is very tempting. Right now you are sitting pretty with 4 very good running backs who you can play matchup wise all year. Portis is very good, but Cadillac and Ronnie Brown were considered to be potential first rounders at the beginning of the year, and they still have the talent to be that.

I guess it depends on what your philosophy is. This guy is obviously trying to buy low and sell high. Everyone is really down on those 2 Rbs, but it would only take 1 good week a piece for their value to go shooting back up. If you are fed up with waiting on them, then pull the trigger, but I would consider waiting, especially since the Caddy has NO this week, who gave up 167 rushing yards and a TD last week, and then he has the Bengals, who couldnt stop my grandmother from getting 100 yards.

Absolutely. Brown and Williams will burn out even though they aren't doing anything so far. They may have a flash of something mid-season but only Portis has the consistency these two lack. He is a great pick-up for a small (yet seemingly large sacrifice)

try to go duce & caddy make him belive caddy will come out of his slump wich he will & remind him portis has started a long season with an injury and will lose a lot of goal line attempts to save his frail shoulder good luck

As long as you will be okay for ByeWeeks, then most definately take Portis...this is a must do!!

yes this is a no brainer with both backs on struggling offenses which have no passing game def. will concentrate on the run more. I'd ask for another back though if he has one like a 4th back as a spot starter.
