i live in a mobile home and its difficult to heat,we don,t have a mains a gas supply so electric is more convenient than changing gas bottles all the time

They sell heaters that look like radiators. You can set them at a temp. They turn on and off like a thermostat. So it saves on electricity. I believe they are only like 50 bucks. They heat very well.

electric water baseboard heat is wonderful. Stays even temp all the time and it's efficient as well.
