Most do not realize that torture is a common response for the political right.
Unfortunately, here in the US we are so far right that most Republicans do not realize that even Demos what they consider the Left, are not left, just left of them!

What's wrong with torture?
If 2 people kidnap my child, and we capture 1 of them, I would torture him to find out where my child was. I think any parent would do the same.
Torture is just a tool, like a hammer, saw, or nuclear weapon. You don't use it all the time, but there are certain special occasions when it is the only tool that will get the job done. Just like nukes. We don't use them in every war, but there are special times when they are a necessary tool to have.
Tools are not good or evil. It is the humans using the tools that are good or evil.

No, it's true. The US has to stop supporting torture across the world, and stop blocking the progress of the UN to stop torture. When the US talks about the UN being useless, guess which country is the only one voting against human rights?
