I heard it too. Check Yahoo Movies for "Indiana Jones" - they often have info on films not yet released if they are currently in production.
I like the films too. I hope he's not too old for the role now.

To all Indy fans out there, yes it is true that Steven Spielburg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford are getting back to make a Indiana Jones IV.
Unfortunately they have been saying this for nearly 3 years and they have been coming up with excuses after excuses as to why it is so late. First there was no script, then Star Wars Episode 3 came out, then they say that they have to re-write the script and finally that all the actors have not been signed.
In last months Empire magazine, the Indiana Jones special anniversary edition, all three of them have been written as saying that there will be a fourth movie and the Harrison is aboard.
Now I don't know what the official script is, but rumours have said either Noah's Ark or Atlantis and that they are hoping to have Willie Scott, Marion Ravenwood and Henry Jones Sn back for the last movie. I'm just hoping that they get John Rhys-Davis back as Shalla and I'd be happy.

It does indeed look like Indiana Jones 4 is going to happen, however, it's early days yet with the film being in pre-production so it still might not happen. If it does get made, it will be released in 2008. At the moment, it does look like Harrison Ford will reprise his role, alongside Sean Connery and Natalie Portman.

Last I heard it was suppose to be realeased in 2007. However, it was only earlier this year that they choose a script. The original was rejected by several people including Harrison Ford. The last thing I heard was a possible 2008 release but more likely then not, 2009. However, pretty much everything I have heard has been rumor and it was several months ago.

pondering how undesirable the present movie develop into and the way it develop right into a technology fiction and now no longer an journey, i do not imagine a lot of human beings will bypass see yet another one if it got here out. 3 out of four human beings i understand hated the present one and in elementary words evaluate the first 3 videos being authentic Indiana Jones (me coated). If yet another one got here out with Shia LaBeouf being Indy i'd see it in simple terms to work out in the journey that they positioned the storyline again on target yet would not evaluate it some thing except a movie - no longer component to the Indiana Jones trilogy. I do believe Shia is an exceedingly good actor even with the actuality that, he has performed some truly magnificent paintings.

There's an IMDB link for "Indiana Jones 4" scheduled to be released in 2008. Not much detail there, but it's apparently more than just a rumor. Check it out:
