It cant easily be done.
there is no directory of 'mobiles', however, if you have a good reason, the mobile provider 'might' help.
best thing is to get someone else to ring it. Use a landline and dial 147 before the number so that theyt dont get the sending number...pretend to do a survey, offer money or prizes, but don't get too personal or it will give the game away

To with hold your number if you are phoning from a landline, you dial 141 before the number you require, not 147! Btw, that will only work if your number is not automatically withheld!! If you number is automatically withheld, dialling 141 before the number you require will reveal your number!!!

why?
if you REALLY want to find out BAD you could:
(with sufficient reasons) go 2da police... or
take the number to someone who works for mob phone companies &ask which tarriff that number is on (or you could go to a natwest & credit it with £5/£10 until the correct tariff confirms payment & then find work(!) for that company... i've worked 4 a few & i've been able to access ppl's accounts & see their whole history & its legal 2do so long as you keep the appropriate confidentiality...

hi. if you dial 141 it will withold your number, and if you dial 141 on an automatic witholding line then it will not reveal your number. if you dial 1470 THEN your number will be revealed.
