I am sorry for your loss.

You will have to put up a barrier to keep your dog away.

I have burried several animals in my yard and never had a problem with other animals bothering them. They are all down 3 feet and in a cardboard box.

I think the yard is a good place, my 17 year old cat would have been lost anywhere else.

I'm so sorry to hear to hear that you're cat died. Wrap it well with plastic, if possible vacuum pack it with the help of your vacuum cleaner. Then put it in a box (a shoe box will do) that you'll seal with duct tape. Dig deep, at least 2 feet deep.

Very sorry for your loss, I know how tough it is to lose a four legged friend.
In the past I have placed the body in a plastic storage bin, dug a hole at least three feet deep, mixed a bag of Sacrete (Concrete mix) and put it in the bottom of the hole, placed the bin on top of the concrete and pour at least two more bags of Sacrete around the bin forming a concrete sarcophagus.

Awww. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Place him in a favorite blanket and bury him nice and deep. I buried my baby in January and the resting place I dug was about 4 ft. And... don't forget some flowers. =(

Your kitty is in good company over the Rainbow Bridgs. Hugs to you.

Put a large potted plant over the grave.

sprinkle red pepper on the site. You will have to re-sprinkle after rains.

Show the site to your dog and tell him "(dog's name) No, leave it"

Sorry for your loss.

fence the area where the cat will be buried and then wait for 6 months and unfence the area :P or even bury the cat in an area where your animals cant get to it
