..I know I couldn't. Here in the UK we have labour.. and for all the newspaper BS we're loving it!! Low unemployment, high economic growth, free and subsidised healthcare, welfare for the poor and a million schemes to force their useless asses back into work! Blair is a c*nt but at least he kept back the tories from trying to destroy the country..

Well there over in the US. Is it time to introduce some reforms to help the poor and start treating yourselves like americans should? Or will you wallow in more republican misery?

Peace,
United Kingdom

Charity is a strange part of economics; but with less disposable income, surely a government would spend it better on everyone than a single person?

I'm not a party person at all. However, I have to say that I'm counting on the Republicans winning another 4 years in office. I try to stay as informed as possible. I just don't believe in the Democrats that are possibles to run for office in the next election. I've seen too many Democrats talking out of both sides of their mouth. They don't have thoughts of their own and they seem to only want to do what's "popular". What's popular isn't always what's best for our country. Also, I must say, the Libs on here have done nothing to sway my vote for them. All they do is name call and accuse.

Nope, sorry, but I'm hoping for a good Republican candidate at this time.

There is a reason we declared Independence from England,
what makes you think , we would try to emulate the UK. I'm not
going to tell you to mind your own business, you have enough
Liberal fools in the press, that will drive you nuts. We will get
four more years of Republicans and thank God for it.Those
other loons who support the Democrats can go back to watching
reruns of Jackass on TV.

I dont understand your arguement, Low unemployment, high economic growth, (you got us on healthcare, thanks to the illegal problem) Welfare to work programs to get the useless butt back into the work world, Bush is unpopular for unpopular judgements but we are far from being a destroyed country. Our media unpopularity obviously is not as extreme as they like you to believe, look at the swarms of people coming to our country to become americans....I do agree we need a new political system because democrats and republicans have lost the meaning of united states, we are so busy fighting among ourselves and the parties campaigns become mudslinging and digging up dirt on your opponent but where are the issues.......Jerry springer better be getting royalties for there mudslinging ads.....

Why do you look so mad?

I am sorry you are angry.

We could help the poor alot more if we deported illegals and gave jobs back to the american citizens. Also, many americans give to charity to give to the poor, if our taxes are raised as dems will do, then we wont be able to contribute and who knows where those tax dollars will be used. If you keep charity at the individual level it is more guaranteed to reach those in need.

The UK is just feeding off the success of the United States. You better hope we keep Republicans in office.

I admit we have our share of problems and the past six years have been no less than a struggle to all Americans. I think we did to focus on items and get them done one at a time, however that doesn't seem to be the focus of our current government, the focuses change daily or weekly to whatever the squeaky wheel of choice is. It's not four more years. It's two more years. As for me, enough is enough. Truth, Justice, and the American way has been replaced with torture, lies, and bombing the world.
Elections are coming here in a few weeks. Change will follow.

They will be out of office soon enough and if they are not, we are in big trouble, YOU TOO. If I was teaching a class on how to screw up a government this would be the best time in history to teach.
