I disagree with Bush or even his grand scheme to invade Afghan, Iraq, axis of evil, whatever.... but I also dislike the idea like making him assasinated in movie, or ridiculing his Christian faith....

Why do people -including American citizen- tend to act irrational when they come to Bush?

Americans have freedom of speech and that means all opinions are heard even the outlandish ones. The media quickly picks up the few outlandish opinions and hypes them for ratings.

Most Americans in opinion polls support the troops, but not the war in Iraq. Also Bush has not been over a 40% popularity rating in over a year which speaks volumes of how the average American feels about him.

I also agree that movies that show him being shot are in poor taste and can put him in more danger. I personally despise this president and would like to see impeachment, but not an assassination.

Many people believe that President Bush has acted dangerously because while he is the head of a republic he tends to speak as if he has no constraints on what he can do with American military and economic and moral power. When interviewed on CSPAN the other day, Woodward said that when he asked President Bush if he had sought the advise of his father before invading Iraq, that the President supposedly said "I answer to a higher Father."

Because of his words and actions, it is easy to convince people that the President does not seek compromise, cooperation or even agreement in anything that he does. That might not be accurate, but he does not seem to be interested in changing that belief.

His victory in 2000 is VERY debateable........His administration has been very secretable from the beginning..............He had Iraq invasion plans before 9/11 yet he deceived us with other excuses for his invasion without an exit stategy and the cooperation of other nations like his Father had done.

He preached about lower taxes and no more nation building to get elected yet he and his "go along" congress has spent way more than any Democrat ever has and OH! Isn't he "nation building" in Iraq???? And, isn't convenient that Haliburton had it's camp set up and ready to help?

Now we are supposed to believe Iraq War was about removing an evil dictator and restoring democracy, FINE, ok but what about Darfur, you remember? Darfur , where an evil regime has killed millions in the last several years, but yet , The Bush Administration has a deaf ear to that matter, maybe because Haliburton did not smell oil and set up camp there, just a wild guess in my opinion.

Its not irrational. The contempt most Americans feel for Bush is well deserved. The man is a fool and totally unqualified.
His bogus war was based on a pretext of lies and thousands of thousands of innocent people have been slaughtered for NO GOOD REASON.

Stealing elections does not go down well either.

30% of Americans believe the 2000 elections was stolen outright. 10% think it could have been stolen.

Is he REALLY a christian? I would question that. Just because a con artist wraps himself in the flag, and says he likes Jesus does not proove him to be good person.

Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel .

Osama Bin Laden is a creation of the Pakistan's ISI secret agency. The ISI's ultimate game plan is to train millions of brainwashed terrorists who are ready to die in the name of Islam and go and murder thousands of innocent victims across the western world.

The intention for it doing so is that it cannit bear to see the likes of China and India racing to become Super Powers politically, economically, in manufacturng and in IT.

Using Islam as a tool - Pakistan wants the west to feel terrorised all the time and then play the fool by acting to be an ally in the war on terror.

The truth is that the Pakistanis feed this terrorism as this indeirectly allows them to blackmaila nd fool the west and at the same time secretly champion a so called "Islamic" revolution using these trained terrorists to do the bidding of the ISI.

I believe that most Americans are upset because of the way Mr Bush has handled the Iraq situation and how he has no clear cut plans for the war on terroism and the fact that he is not up right with the American people.

I wonder about that too. I can understand that some people will strongly disagree with him. But, I don't understand this level of personal hatred towards him. He may not be the brightest man, and may make some poor policy choices, but I think he is basically a genuine person at least trying to do the right thing.

in the case of the US citizens- because he had the gall to win an election which they thought he should lose. Then to make things worse, he won a second election. After that, no matter what he did, and no matter what he said, they would be against him. Not rational, not sensible, but that's how it works.
In the case of foreign citizens, he is the leader of the most powerful state inthe world. Add 99% of unreasoning envy, and long standing traditions of opposing anything and everything the US proposed (dates back to the russian sponsored "peace activism") and you get a nice mix.
I happen to disagree with Bush too, though in the case of Afghanistan and Iraq I am definetly "for"

Yeah, i think the movie was tasteless and tacky. I also do not agree with all of Bush's goings on, but I am not about to attack him for it. I disagree with alot of people, doesnt mean I am going to wish them dead.

I think it has become the typical Mob mentality as far as Bush is concerned. You get enough people to start some crap, and more and more join the group. And they call us sheep.

If you put American Soldiers in a war for other than honorable reasons you loose the trust of the American people. Americans will never fully support a Politicians war. One day I hope our leaders learn that, but then again the point of a politicians war is not to learn or to protect us, it is only to line pockets with Money.
