Independence day, the speech ruined a good film.

Any film requiring a speech at the end of it to make it's point is worthless. When I get a speech at the end I want my money back. The film maker just wasted 2 hours of my time when he could have just showed me the 2 minute speech. Come on guys use your art. Make the film make the speech or don't make the film.

The chap above me must have forgotten when the colonies handed "Great" Britain their bloody axx! I seem to recall a few Americans giving their lives during WWII when Great Britain was again being handed their axx by that little madman in Germany. And of course we are all so gosh darn impressed with the Great Britain space program. I forget, how many times have they been to the moon?

I don't know about the end of the film but the one in Independence Day was pretty horrific, I remember when I watched it at the cinema everybody started laughing.

And that line in Dirty Dancing about '..never feeling this way about anybody else' was quite bad as well.

Independance Day definitely. Although, unintentionally, it was extraordinarily funny!
