Anywhere in the Great Lakes. Cold fresh water keeps the wrecks in very good shape, even the schooners from the 1850's. Ice diving in winter is a hoot too. ( I'm a wreck head)
Tropical destination? Cozumel, Mexico. Great reef system (part of the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world), cheap, great diving shops/charters, cavern diving on the mainland avaliable, Mayan ruins on the island and just about everyone visiting there is going to be a fellow diver.

The spiegel grove in Key Largo, Florida. It is the largest sunken ship in the world. When they sank it a few years ago the made a mistake, and the ship was laid on its side. The cool thing is that last year a hurricane came through the keys and made the ship stand up straight like it was originally suppose to be!
