I have been recieving numerous phone calls from an ex-girlfriend of a guy i've been "dating". She calls me about 17 times a day and has left me about 10 voicemail messages. She even went as far as to get my home number and called me there. I don't want to have to change my phone number or screen all my calls out of fear that it's this crazy bytch. But i am wondering if I can bring any type of complaint/charge against her or should I just put on my boxing gloves and be prepared to kick her ***. I'd rather just file a complaint. Anyone know. TIA!

I think it would depend on what she says in the calls. If you just don't want to talk to her, you can hang up. But if she is threatening you, contact your local police. Even if she's not threatening, ask your local police if there is anything they can do.

Or, better yet, just scare her. When she calls, just say "It's her. Start tracing the call." Say it into the phone like someone is on monitoring it.

initially, in simple terms what percentage sexual harassment claims have you ever considered? no longer too many to call your self an expert i will guess. Secondly, employers are making it sparkling what's and isn't any longer harassment. we ought to take practise on it each and every year. case in point, many years in the past, between the male workers at my job, develop into reprimanded for having nude photos of ladies individuals pinned up in his cubicle. He couldn't understand why he indignant the ladies individuals at paintings and couldn't understand why the bosses made him take the photos down. we've got practise in position that instruments the limitations. in case you do not have practise in the place of work to be certain what's or isn't harassment, ask your self one effortless question, might want to this habit if utilized in direction of my mom, sister, spouse, or lady friend be acceptable? in case you say it could be irrelevant, then i imagine you've your answer. One very last challenge, women individuals might want to be predators too antagonistic to adult males. and there is evidently same sex harassment. people are defective throughout all spectrums of existence. lack of understand-how knows no limitations.

anytime someone is calling you or talking to you or saying things to you against your will after you've asked them not to it's harrassment.
But in this case even if you haven't asked her to stop if you call someone more than 5 times a day it can be considered harrassment (seriously) i had a girl call me one time and i told her she didn't need to be calling my phone well she started ranting and raving and the police got involved for one call. bc i told her when i picked up the phone that she didn't need to be calling me and she just lashed out. I'd just call the law that's the only way your going to get things resolved it seems. Good Luck.

It sounds like harrassment to me. File a complaint with the local police. If they won't do anything, call the District Attorney. File a complaint with the local telephone company.

Harassment is the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands. You could probably, at best, get a restraining order.

Go to your local police station first and tell them. They will call and tel them to stop, then they will proceed further if they don't. Best thing to do is put them on call blocker.
