Honest mistake by the idiots at Fox, or a conscious decision to try and confuse their already addle-minded viewers?

To all the right-wing idiots who said "that never happened", here's a link with a screen capture from the show. It's been covered by other outlets as well. Might be time to get your heads out of your as*es....

I've seen the images on websites trying to "show" Fox News tried to present Foley as a democrat. I highly suspect the image is doctored.

I've watched quite a bit of both CNN & FOX. If that image isn't doctored, it is a brief typo. I'm sure the newscaster was verbally refering to him as a republican at the same time & it was immediately corrected, because all I've seen on Fox was references to REPUBLICAN Foley.

And I have heard MANY, if not ALL of the commentors on Fox, not only condemning Foley, but also wanting an investigation in to who knew what & when. One conservative commentator last night said "If Hastert didn't know - he should have!"

Part of the confusion (again, IF the image is accurate) is that there is a democrat Tom Foley. IF someone made that kind of mistake, I sort of hope they'd get fired for it.

The only thing "fair & balanced" about FOX is that it provides balance by presenting the "right while CNN presents the "left." I watch both to get the whole picture.

It's simple. Because there not fair and balanced like they want people to believe. This was no mistake, it was done completely intentional.

Hey political correctness, nothing is going to change the fact that Foley was a republican, got it.

OMG! Couldn't believe it, but it's true! Have to say it was a conscious decision as you said. They're all spinning, literally and figuratively, in the mud and trying like H to get out of this mess.

Totally unbelievable! Extremely pathetic!!

Its a deliberate attempt to mislead. This is a right wing corporate media entity. They are all about lies and distortion.
Kind of reminds me of the Hearst newspaper chain during the run up to the war with Spain.

I guess they figured their braindead viewers wouldn't notice, give them a few minutes and they'll be blaming Bill Clinton for it.

Standard Operating Procedure for Fox....funny thing is they believe their viewers are actually dumb enough to believe it.

Tragically...they are right.

Things look bad in the polls for november. Just thought they'd slip that one by, and if caught they could say it was an "honest mistake."

I saw that on youtube.

If Fox can't get political parties right, then how can anyone trust them?

1. It was not an honest mistake.

2. They do not recall making the error.
