building an motor out of extra parts, 267 block that is 20 over, useing a 283 crank with the stock lengh rods that will destroke the motor as these motors use the same crank as a 350, the cam and intake are elderbrock profromer's, and the carb is a 390 holley,
i will port match the stock heads
what will the cubic inch be?
what kind of power will this motor make? and at what rpm?
theres no such thing as extra parts

i found out that the cubic inch will be 233.6

the cam is for a 305 that made power from idle to 5500 rpm

the stock stroke was 3.480 the same as a 350, the stroke of the 283 is 3.000, makeing it a destroker for this motor

So many variables small carb cam lift and duration not knowing exhaust how many power take offs alternator waterpump powersteering ect. Assemble it take it to a dyno and see if it can make several pulls at full power. There are virtual dyno on computers just feed in the data.

233.6 sounds wrong. the 283 was created by stroking the 265. your motor should be over 283. I cant do the math.
