Here are a few
Committee staff sizes and perks cut or eliminated
Term limits for committee chairmen
Overhauled the nation’s welfare system
Set time limits on federal welfare assistance
Welfare program changed into a system of block grants going to the states, welfare rolls have dropped 54% since then
Passed a bill that cut the capital gains tax and included tax credits for education plus a $500-per-child tax credit
Created Roth IRAs
1998 had the first budget surplus in decades and continued with this until 2001 when the budget was negatively impacted by 911 and the war on islamofascism
No Child Left Behind Act—a significant overhaul of our nation’s failed educational system
2001 tax cuts helped with fast recovery from the Clinton dotcom bust and has increased tax revenues to the highest in history at the Fed level and many states are experiencing the same
Increased deductibility for business expenses in 2003 with another tax cut, and revenues continued to climb, allowing citizens to keep more of their money.
Strongest economy in history, a goldilocks economy, not too hot nor too cold.
Anyway research shows the list of accomplishments to be way longer than I am willing to type.
Look you are acting stupid with this stuff, you appear to have an irrational hatred for a term limited individual and it is doing no one any good. The economy and the accomplishments of the congress are a matter of record, open your partisan eyes and go get the real information instead of spouting the party lines.

I think they did some good stuff in the immediate aftermath of 1994. I liked many of the ideas in the "contract with America". The most notable achievement was welfare reform, which never would have happened if it weren't for the republicans taking control.
However, the current batch of republicans are an unmitigated disaster. In my view, republicans should be for limiting government spending and reducing the role of the federal government. In recent years, the republican congress has been the exact opposite of that. The party has been totally taken over by the religious right, which has no interest in small government. Instead, they're focused on imposing a moral agenda on us, while rubber stamping Bush's war dreams. Ugh!

Um., guys, its obvious that both parties havent done much.
Remember demos had congressional control pre-1994 for a few decades (minus small pockets of gop of 2-4 years one in while).
Demos, the cause of problems pre-1980/pre-Reagan.
Demos, the cause of the socalled Reagan deficent (it was congressional overspending that caused that deficent).
Demos, the party of slavery (pre-civilrightsact), and would still be that party if not for JFK assination.
Demos, part of hyprocrisy, they complain about everything while doing it themselves..
Demos, the party of social programs that eventually prove to be worthless or not work...
Demos, the party of taxation without value.
(they consistantly consider distribution of other peoples $$$ to be a right, instead of letting people spend their own $$..

After reading the answers down to WOODY I can see the Demos. are out in force and no one will be able to change your mind because you are BLIND. You would vote for a Demo, regardless of what he stood for. Good or bad if he is a Demo. you go for him. Me I try to listen to both sides and then vote for the one who I believe will do the most for the country. Remember the President can only do what congress will let him do. And we have to take the good with the bad weather we like him or not I will stay with the one elected and support him as much as I can. If a Demo. gets into office lets see if he turns out better or worse. There is good and bad in all of us including myself. Thanks all and have a good day.

They spent millions of dollars of taxpayers money on investigating Clinton's alleged scandals.
They brought us "No Child Left Behind" since Bush 2 came into office.
They lowered our taxes but yet as a middle class person, with inflation of everything I use totally exceeds my tax break, I wish someone out there can explain what is so great about lower taxes???? I paid more taxes in the Clinton years and had a lot more to show for my income.

Due to their slim majority and the extreme partisanship of the Democrats, not a damn thing. If they had enough of a majority to actually pass some stuff they would have gotten plenty accomplished. I guess you didn't think about that when posting your extremely partisan question.

They have gone "Democrat lite." They have moved away from conservative values, such as small government, less government, less costly government.
They seem unwilling to deal with the most pressing problems, such as border security, because their worried more about re-election than doing what is best for the country.

Lied and gotten a bunch of American brothers killed because of those lies.
And the world is a safer place now, except for the fact that more people are deciding to become terrorists than ever before just to fight the mistakes of the Republicans.
