Answer my other question just like this one too. I think this is an issue for the sake of this kind of entertainment!

I remember Undertaker destroying Vince McMahon in a match for revenge. Undertaker took out everyones anger on Vince.
Vince may be smart and have the connections. But, he is very egotistical. A good WWE Leader should'nt be so selfish with their power. I Vote DX or Teddy Long.

Maybe Sgt. Slaughter should take over.

Allright this settles it, JBL wants to make such an impact. He should partner up with Palmer Cannon and take over. He has the smarts, money, and hates it right now!

I don't think that Vince is necessarily doing a terrible job. The problem is that when he bought WCW and ECW he lost the competition that was driving him to make the product better... You can only push the TV limits so far, and he's at the edge... You can't get the Divas completely naked, you can't have Edge and Lita actually screwing in the ring...etc... so the only place to go with the storyline is backward which is why DX is back... next thing you know, the Hardy's will be back... This week is "Raw Homecoming" so all the superstars will be back on one show... which is what made Raw a hit in the first place....
Remember what wrestling was like before Nitro and Raw? Usually it was Saturday or Sunday night and 45minutes of the show would be new faces wrestling jobbers then the last 5 or 10 minutes would be a main event with 2 guys that you had heard of... Title matches were like once a month. Nitro and Raw were awesome at first because it was all the stars in the same show... now that's expected and there's no competition to drive creativity... It's getting stale

None of the people you mention would work if you're talking about running the company and NOT just writing a few storylines.
Hogan- Too fixated on himself and friends
DX- Too limited in their angles
Teddy Long? Not likely
Heyman- Too crude for mainstream.
Jarrett- Good guy. Probably not better than the McMahons, however.
The Rock- Your best bet. He understands what people want, and has the appeal to deliver.
Vince's work is legendary. It takes time to make the relationships he has. And it takes skill to be the leader he is. He changed wrestling from a loose confederation to a straight organization. Verne Gagne, Crockett and others couldn't have pulled it off.
Even a guy like Nick Kellis (Final Fu) doesn't have all the pieces to put this together.
It takes business savvy and knowledge of the industry to pull this off. Basically, McMahon innovated exactly as Peter Drucker would define it.
The only other recent person was Eric Bischoff, like others said. He too innovated w/ Nitro, and had things going, until he got sloppy and stale.
But, if you're looking for someone else, it would be someone who has experience w/ X-Games as well as mainstream sports w/ ESPN. Find that guy, and he might have a chance.

ME!!!!! No weenie storylines like Chavo and Rey's blasphemy of Eddie Guerreros legacy. Booker would have a real gimmick instead of the stupid one he has now. Khali would be GONE!! Chris Benoit would get another few runs as champ. Ric Flair would replace JBL. I'd get Sting and Angle from TNA. Send Edge to TNA. The Big show would go on a diet and a hardcore workout regimen with HHH. The ECW title would go to Sabu or RVD. I would bring back a real tag team storyline(freakin' Eric Bischoff and his hatred of tag teams!!!, he broke up the Steiners, the Hardys, the Dudleys for a time, what a jacka$$) Bischoff would be hawking t-shirts in the lobby!(he is still GM behind the scenes you know) Sgt. Slaughter would play a role in story lines. Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Orton, Mr. Kennedy and Charlie Haas, would get REAL storylines and title shots. Cena would be my bread and butter, as he is now, they got something rightI could go on all night......

Eric Bishoff is the only one I can think of that may have a brain to keep it going other than the McMahons, after all he's been with WWE before WCW and back again and gone again and back again, etc.

Outside of Kayfabe, no one. People who know nothing about wrestling know only three letters: WWE. You can't market a product much better than that.
