had coil pack checked it is good, seems to get gas. pulled plug wire no spark apparent. What may cause this. No codes show.

it sound like ignition module to,it is behind the coil packs

Could be the crank shaft sensor or ignition module.
Check the crank sensor at the front of the engine, near the harmonic balancer on the crank shaft. If it has oil on it, that is more that likely the culprit. Have a qualified tech change it, because the tolerances are very close. If it's not installed properly the interrupter can destroy the new one. Hope this helps.

Crank angle sensor or electronic ingnition? 19 year old car isn't it time? Would you look good in a new car?

SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD BE THE CONTROL MODULE IN THE DISTRIBUTOR OR PICKUP MODULE. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 92 CHEVY PICK-UP. THE CONTROL MODULE SETS ON THE PLATE INSIDE THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP. THESE CAN BE TESTED ALSO.
