Absolutely. I forget who said "all political careers end in failure" (it could have been Margret Thatcher, but if it was they would be unusually wise words for her). This does not mean that the individuals own life has been a failure. Look at the floods of ex ministers who joined corporate boards after leaving politics, or became media personalities (Neil and Christine Hamilton (shiver!)). There is life after failure.

i might be after i successful fail to answer this question rite....for if you fail ur a failure, and if u succeed then ur successful, so you can't be a successful failure for if u r then failed at being a failure (which means ur successful) and if you succeeded in being a failure then ur successful...o.k i know it's a load of crap but at least this way it sounds like ur successful even if you are a successfull failure...

Indeed it is. Look at all those businessmen who've gained the world but lost their soul in the process. Look how miserable and empty some of their lives are. Compare that to the impoverished person, who, try as they might, can't even get a break but are still gloriously hopeful, optimistic and above all, happy.

I would say sure, if your super successful at it then yes,one doesn't measure succes by only one standard so if you are consistent at being a failure why the hell not, you failure you

What you stated is an oxymoron, a contradiction. If you succeed at some goal, then you're NOT a failure.

Well, Apollo 13 was deemed one. The ship was damaged, and there was no moon landing. but everyone got home safe.
