Pull yourself together man ! Or it really will be curtains for you.
I am sorry, I tried to cushion the effect of my words, but you can only sink sofa !
Just a thought, if you wear a wig would it be `thatched cottaging` ?

You don't mention how old you are. If you are a mature, transgender 'mo then Laura Ashley would be a lovely thing to wear. You will look smart, sophisticated and sensible. However, the younger generation has been known to criticise Laura Ashley as "dowdy" and so you might want to go for something from H&M, and jazz it up a little (no pun intended) with some Claire's Accessories. But remember, cottaging is not a fashion show. It's not how you look, it's what's inside you that counts.

Since when is "cottaging" a word? What does it mean? Are you shopping for one, staying in one, building one? I have never heard that term. Its very odd. As for what to wear, ditch the folksy. Folksy is so five minutes ago. Neotraditional grunge is in now and I am sure appropriate for "cottaging". It is worn a lot for "shabby chicing".

Yeah, and a Laura Ashley carrier bag is great to hide that extra pair of feet from prying eyes below the door. I'm sure you'll find some real gents - lol.

Well, it would add a little whimsy to the whole outing.
And as long as everything underneath still provides easy access, I'd say go right ahead.
