I have tried everthing to get things to come on full size without clicking on the min/max on the top of the page. I have tried the tools , view etc but it still insists on coming up small first ! I thought that I was fairly good with things like this but now I am lost !!

Thanks WHT , that alters the script size but not the window size . It still comes on about half window size !!

Internet Explorer memorizes its size and position when closed *properly*. This throws a lot of people. Try this: Open Internet Explorer; Drag it to the size and position you want; Close it *using File -> Exit* not the little close button on the title bar. Open Internet Exlorer again and it should be configured as you like. Leaving the program using File -> Exit and leaving it using the close button [x} behave very differently.

maybe u cud try this
hold Ctrl now roll the mouse roller ball (the one on the top) up and down
