a lake has tides hummmm...

They are not deep enough to have tides. So the moon does not effect the Great Lakes.

The Great Lakes do not have tides. They do, however, exhibit seiches, which can look a little like tides. These are simply wind blown water (standing waves) and are not related to the moon's pull.

think the lake is one hundred miles for the duration of then through fact the earth rotates the lake in direction of the moon the displacement of water from the farthest away area may be drawn in direction of the area closest to the moon for that reason a small tide...james the hollow earth guy
