Thank you for such an introspective question. It makes me think. I guess today I would be about 75. I feel so pensive and tired.

I feel like I have a secret that I treasure with all my heart. I know how to push my body and I know how to rest it. I know how to feed it for optimal performance and I know the consequences of a poor diet.I know how thrilling it is to run fast, be strong, not give up for hours if need be and I know how draining it is to help myself down the stairs only using my arms the next day because my legs are so sore. I know that sometimes I need to take a nap and go to bed at 7pm on the same day, that is okay, I am aging.

I know the young men at the gym think my smile is motherly unless I switch it up just enough and then they see the force of desire behind it and I know it is wisest to laugh kindly and move along.

I know how to be 40. That is my chronological age and I am comfortable in that and that is my secret.

I feel sorta like I am having a dogs day afternoon.
(means I am beat from the heat and want to just sleep in the shade)

In dog years,
7dog years to 1 human year,
I would be dead.

at this moment, I feel about 50 or 60 years old. I'm tired and worn out. I shouldn't feel like this yet. I'm too young for this!! (I'm in my mid-twenties).
