Hastert seems to be of the opinion that it's time to rethink allowing the Page program to continue in light of the Foley scandal. Wouldn't it be better to ensure these kids are treated with respect and not as fresh meat for dirty old men and women? The page program is important for those teens who aspire to public service and want to get first hand experience on how the country works.

I understand, but help me with my cunical attitude because I would never trust Congress to finally grow up. Too many egos, too many pressures, too much money, too much power, too much arrogance. Don't you think? Wouldn't the kids always be at risk in this kind of environment?
