Beckham(captain) -- Cannavarho(captain) --
Beckham is better than Cannavaro because the former is much more proven than the latter. Cannavaro is also a great player but Beckham is one of the best soccer have ever had.


Buffon(GK)--Dida(GK)--
Buffon's goal keeping was superb in the 2006 world cup.So, i personally think buffon the proud italian is better than the brazillian dida.

Ronaldinho--Grosso--
Although grosso was better than ronaldinho in 2006 WC ,ronaldinho on his day can be deadly and i wil prefer the latter much more than the former.


Kaka--Del Piero--
no doubt the brazzilian rockstar is better than the talented italian.


Messi--Crouch--
messi the italian is superb and crouch is still making a mark in proffesional soccer.


Nedved--Klose
nedved is superb although the impressive performance of klose was great , but still i think nedved has the upper hand .


Zidane--Ronaldo--
no doubt zidane the french soccer god is better than the brazillian star .

although team 2 has a very good strike force,the very good midfield in team 1 won't allow them much space and the excellence of buffon in gk closes the door for any tangeble goal from team 2.

team 2 has a very good defence in Cannavarho but their inferior midfield will cause the defence line to collapse and dida aint that good to stop great strikers like henry who is in team 1.

team 2 has too many strikers and that will result in ondue scamble against themselves,every one trying to score, in the end no one scores.the front line is supposed to have a maximum 2 strikers

a good team suppose to have more midfielders,say 4 and that you can see in team 1 with unbeatable midfileders like ronaldihno,kaka,zidane and ballack.

thierry is by far the best.The skill he has and the way he strokes the ball around effortlessly is amazing.Yes other players from your list are quality too but thierry is just class.The impossible angles he scores from, the way he takes the ball round defenders like they wernt even there, genius pure genius.He is a credit to the game and the premiership wouldnt be the same without him.Imagine ronaldinho playing for arsenal with thierry nobody would stop them.
