Yes it will, it will give the Pakistanis to sneak in more terrorists into India and disturb the peace more and more.
Pakistan knows that it can never in a war with India, so it will always put forth the right hand in friendship with its left hand behind its back clasping a knife to plunge it the moment India opens her arms to it. (Pakistan)

There is no use of a friendship where the friendship is only flowing from India to Pakistan. In case the friendship is imparted from both the sides, these two countries can become as developed as any other highly developed countries in the world. A very high percentage of the budget of India and Pakistan is earmarked for accumulating weapons, to be used on each other. While Defence is required for the safety of any nation, Definitely a good percentage of the amount of money now utilised by them can be channelised for developmental purposes. If these two countries develop together, No developed countries in the world today can compete with them as they are bestowed with all type of resources, talented and industrious population, food products, metals and minerals, oil and natural gas and natural resources and all the more highly motivated intelligentsia to manage them and what not.

Umm,YEAH.They've been killing one another over Kashmir for years now. This alone will prevent many needless deaths. These two countries settling their disputes with each other will bring some much needed stability to that region of the world. The less people are shooting across borders in the Middle East the closer the world comes to sorting out these radical factions who kill everywhere. If India and Pakistan can work with each other toward making the Middle East a more peaceful place the entire world could benefit. This is in fact true of any country in that region.

I am convinced that as long as Pakistan is in the grips of the army, it has no future as a civilised nation. Till then, no amount of agreement will really work. The Pak Army has a single track of mind; incapable of higher vision. Indian has never been fighting shy of talking to the Pak leaders. There have been many more agreements with their leaders, like Simla Agreement with Bhutto and Lahore Agreement with Shariff. All of them were thrown to winds, against the principles of international politics. What is the need for further talk and agreement, when they showed regard for the past agreements. India must be prepared for some hard decisions, shedding its tendency to commit blunders after blunder.

Peace in this region is important...

Everyday lots of people die on either side of the border n the security deployment in this region is also very high burning a hole in the pockets of both the nations.

Peace in this region will mean that both governments can concentrate on much needed development issues.

Friendship between India n Pakistan will bring in this peace….

no use it is the politicians who are enouraging this type of friendship. If India is able to teach a lesson to Pak, we will have a peaceful life in the years to come. The Govt should take a firm decision in this regard.

Indians and pakistanis have a common heritage, they are like any two quarelling brothers in the Indian, Pakistani or Bangladeshi village hating each other for a piece of land their ancestors left. They will spend whatever little earnings they have in courts. Live miserably, not think of improving their quality of life by getting together.
Send these two brothers to UK /US to strugle again and you woud find them living so coardially that one cant make out whos who between them UNTIL theres a cricket match between the two countries.
That is the irony of the situation.
