It's hard to know what you are on about.
Do you mean that when you type the URL in your browsers address bar and hit return, the site does not load? (If yes, try uploading the site again).
Do you mean that when you type the URL into a search engine, BT search is the only one to return results? (This wouldn't be surprising. Getting search rankings is difficult without spending big bucks these days).

Lately, it really sucks, because it's becoming harder and harder to get your site to reference in web searches. But yes, that means that no website has ever crawled your site and found enough useful content to index it under their own search engine.
In order to "help" out these search engines out, I suggest you start using metatags and keywords. These help search engine bots realize that your site IS crawlable and will get you linked in search engines. For more information on meta tags, go here: http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2167931
Also, another factor with search engine ranking is how often other sites link to your site. If no other sites are linking to your site (because it's unpopular or whatnot), then you're likely not to have any spot on Google or whatnot. So, if you're on forums, put your link in your signature, and putting your link on the bottom of your email signatures will help too.
The last part of this is to SUBMIT your link to search engines around the internet. A free way to do this is here: http://www.submitexpress.com/submit.html It actually works too.
Hope that helped.

Stop searching for the site. It is possible that it is not indexed in the search engines. You need good meta tags to get good indexing.
If you want to go directly to a website, type the address in the ADDRESS bar.

It is most likely because it is not hosted in a Search Engine, like Google,Ask Jeeves,Yahoo,MSN,ect. Try typing the URL/link of the website into your address bar, instead of 'searching' for it :) Hope that helped :) Good luck!
