What this protein is good for and for what it can be used?

If a protein has binding properties, then it can adhere to another material in the right conditions. Other than that, I'm not sure what you are asking.

Affinity chromatography is a bunch of small gel-like balls in a tube. The gels have some molecule attached to them. When an array of proteins go through the gels, ones that have an affinity for the molecules attach to the gel balls and the rest of the protiens go through. Therefore, you know that the proteins left of the gel balls can bind to the molecule you set on the surface of the gels. Its just a way to find out what proteins bind to a certain substrate.
