An ex-designer made our homepage but he didn't leave 'name and password' of our server. I wish to know if there is a way
to find out 'name & password' to approach to the server because we need to repair our homepage.

Hi, there is no way you can get your password on the server, The best thing to do is ask your webhosting provider for your username and have your password reset. If this option is not available to you... You can hire a webdesigner to have a copy of your website or rebuild it and host it on another server.

I know a webdesigning company that can help you with that. Their site is http://www.intrinzicdesignz.com , their price is pretty cheap but their service is good. I also had the same experience as yours before and they took care of the transfering of the site in another server where I can have access.. so I just cancelled my account on the old server.

I hope this information helps :-)

Contact the hosting company and see what you need to do to recover your logon details. It would be much quicker if you contacted the designer and got it from him or her, however.

Contact the old designer and ask.

I find it amusing that it occurred to you to come here and ask, but it didn't occur to you to go and ask someone who you know to have the information you require.
